Seen from the south-west this building is the former Birmingham City Council owned Tamebridge House which was used as Social Services offices. It was sold by the City Council and has been converted into apartments. Now named Riverside House the notice outside announces 'BRAND NEW LUXURY APARTMENTS FOR RENT - PRICES RANGING FROM £550 - £795 pcm' (per calendar month). The original name was from the bridges over the River Tame, which flows on the immediate north side of the building. Riverside House stands on the A453 Aldridge Road in Perry Barr, a heavily-used road leading south into the city centre. Time photo taken 1.00 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
