Carved stone post by the B4028, in parish of Coleford (Forest of Dean District), junction of Gloucester and Staunton Roads, against police station wall, on South-east side of road. Erected by the Forest of Dean Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : Coleford / To / Gloucester / 19 Miles. / {line} / To / London 124 / {line} : : Coleford / To Severn Bridge / 9 Miles / {line} / To Parkend 3 : Milestone Society National ID: GL_COGL01.
