Great Haywood Junction is where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal (off to the left) joins the Trent and Mersey Canal, off to the left. Mill Lane Bridge is No 74. Turn left through the bridge for Wolverhampton and Stourport; continue straight ahead for Stoke-on-Trent and Northwich and the River Mersey.
