The area called Central Square immediately outside Cardiff Central Railway Station is seeing a great deal of redevelopment. A small shopping and office block stood in front of this car park (where the 360 excavator is) but that had already been demolished at the time of this photograph. The car park is coming down to provide a transport interchange (bus station) to replace the now developed site of the former bus station. The interchange will have shops, offices and accommodation as well.
