By the A513 is The Olde Peculiar, a slightly upmarket friendly pub and restaurant, which also offers B and B accommodation. Recommended for real ale - they do sometimes serve the iconic Theakston's Old Peculier, but eschew its quirky spelling - haven't tried the meals yet. Reviews on the notorious Tripadvisor are very encouraging!
