There are two moderately large car parks in this area - one is run by Cornwall council and the other (shown here, in the distance) is for the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum. Unusually, the Museum's car park doesn't much resemble one, as it was full of catering and makeup trailers. This has become a regular sight at this time of the year - the Museum rent out the car park which is used as headquarters for the filming company that was filming local external shots in the area for the BBC's Poldark [2015 - 2019] production. This was for the final 2019 series, being filmed during the summer/autumn of 2018 and this was the last weekend of location filming in Cornwall.
