The bridge replaced a very heavy manually operated one in the 1980s. This one is controlled electrically by boat crews with a BWB key. The control panel operates automatically, but do keep your hand on the button or it pauses while you dream and wonder why nothing is happening. Here the bridge is already half up, so I can rev up and move forwards!
