The countryside around here is far from flat, as can be seen from the local 'mountain' (known as The Cloud) in the background. This land feature is shared between Cheshire and Staffordshire, as the County boundary passes through its summit. In the middle distance of this view is the curiously-named Peckerpool Wood Bridge, which carries the A54.
