Humber Refinery

Owned by US company, Conoco-Phillips, the refinery was built in 1969 and supplies the "Jet" brand of fuel in the UK. It is the only coking refinery in Britain, produced by catalytic cracking. The resulting products include carbon for batteries as well as for fuel. The picture is taken from the Jet filling station on the south side of the busy A160.
