Previously the Star Inn Image and originally the "Old Star" (before the name was shortened in the noughties) this Hydes Brewery pub was refurbished in 2017 and is now the James Watts. It is named after the former Mayor of Manchester, High Sheriff of Lancashire and owner of nearby Abney Hall. Image
