Helsby Railway Station

Built in 1849 for the Birkenhead, Lancashire and Cheshire Junction Railway Company the station building is a listed structure reflecting its use of local sandstone and being built in the Jacobean style. The station is unmanned and is looked after by the North Cheshire Rail Users Group although officially the responsibility of Transport for Wales.
