Mill House, The Cottages and Russell Row on the northeast side of Park Road, Sproatley. Most of the older houses in Sproatley village previously belonged to the Chichester-Constables of Burton Constable Hall and in 1920 housing was allegedly very poor, with 18 of the cottages said to be unfit for families. Sproatley has since developed as a dormitory village for the city of Hull.
