Many gabled, chimneyed and hoodmoulded, and possessing a complicated building history. The oldest parts are late C15th, there is C16th brickwork, an early C17th timber porch, and the left-hand section was added in 1815. Grade II* listed. It has now been split into several residences. The name derives from the building's use by the Council in the Marches in the C16th.
