HMS Unicorn was built at Chatham Dockyard in Kent and launched in 1824. The ship was never rigged, and only went to sea for the voyage from Chatham to Dundee, during which she was under tow. Listed as part of the National Historic Fleet, HMS Unicorn is now a museum ship, moored in Victoria Dock at Dundee.
