Taken while walking from Paddington Station to the Test Match at Lord's. A row of trees and behind it further vegetation separates road from canal. On the far bank stands the Catholic Apostolic Church, whose spire is just visible. It is a rare survivor of this sect, which combined belief in the imminent Second Coming of Christ with Catholic practices. This church is still in use, according to the accounts filed with the Charity Commission: http://beta.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-details/?subid=0®id=245205.
