This is the smithy to which the village of Mawnan Smith owes its name. The smithy is Grade II Listed and it forms the centrepiece of the Old Smithy Workshops, a project set up by the Anvil Trust. The workshops house various craftspeople and a blacksmith carries out the traditional smithing craft at the forge.
