A branch of Guineys (no apostrophe) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guineys opened in the renovated former British Homes Stores (BHS). at 24-26 Castle Place, on 8 December 2018. 100 years ago this was the site of “24, 26, Malcomson Bros. Ltd., grocers and provision merchants  26. Ye Olde Castle Restaurant Ltd. - F. W. Henry, managing director, Strathmore, Fortwilliam Park”. The 1861 street directory shows “26  Malcolmson & Baker, grocers and spice merchants; James Malcolmson's residence, Fairview, Crumlin Road 24  Charles N. Davis, furrier, boot and shoe warehouse; residence, 47 Donegall Pass”. Image shows a “before” view.
