Cancer Warriors was founded in 2008 under the name Derk's Army by Derrick Evans who became a Cancer Advocate and Fundraiser in 2013. It changed its name in 2015, This information and support centre was opened in 2018 http://cancerwarriors.co.uk/about/ The shop had previously been Inspiration, a fashion shop and before that the Chicken Barbecue. The Tripe and Sandwich Shop is probably one of the last remaining tripe shops in the North of England.
