Graffiti in Ross on Wye

A rather artistically painted eye on the side of a derelict toilet block in a Ross on Wye car park. The word "graffiti" is the plural form of the Italian word "graffito", which is itself derived from the Italian word "graffiare", meaning "to scribble". Ultimately, all these words come from the Greek word "graphein", meaning "to scratch, draw or write". Don't say I never learn you anything!
