Not a mis-located photograph, this Skegness is a late 19th century development on Selston Common. Presumably the name was the result of locals having enjoyed a holiday at the Lincolnshire resort, a favoured seaside destination for this part of the East Midlands. The view is looking across the remaining part of Selston Common, dedicated as a recreation ground.
