In December 2018 the timetable in the shelter shows that this is a stop on bus route 26 to Cardiff via Llanbradach, Caerphilly and Nantgarw. It is also a stop on route 901 to Ystrad Mynach railway station. SAFLE BWS is Welsh for BUS STOP.
