Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Wisbech on the afternoon of Tuesday 27th November 2018. Their planned visit of 45 minutes to St Peter's and St Paul's church and Wisbech and Fenland Museum actually lasted for over 2 hours leaving police and security staff to wait about in the light rain. It is very rare to see a police officer in Wisbech but on this particular day there must have been over 30 and about 10 police vehicles. This is an unusual photo in that all vehicles which usually are parked in the Crescent had been banned from the street.
