Originally part of the Unicorn Hotel & garage, and dating from the late 16th century, albeit extensively restored around 1890. The whole site, which is now mainly the premises of a well known local wine merchants, including Image just offshot to the right, plus a number of buildings behind the street frontage, was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254993-28-29-and-30-wyle-cop-shrewsbury#.XARJlNSLTGg in 1953.
