An area of old grassland near Annfield Plain. This is supposed to be a nature reserve, but there is little sign of any management at present. There seems to be a lot of scrub encroachment, which will not be good for the wild flowers. View looking uphill to the old railway line, now the Consett and Sunderland Railway walk.
