The birds are roosting in tall laurel bushes at the entrance to the Jean Muir Student Village at the Heriot Watt University Scottish Borders Campus at Netherdale. For a 2013 view of the entrance and laurel bushes, see Image Apparently, the laurel bushes were cut back when the birds roosted here on a previous occasion.
