This is now a "bridge over nothing" on a minor urban footpath. Yet it is grade 2 listed (list entry 1031919) as "a rare survival of a toll bridge over a canal". Built 1831, restored 1978 - Neil Clifton's 1977 photo shows it before restoration Image The steps up to it are at the eastern end of Hare Street.
