If you peer determinedly between the pale trunks of the silver birches beside the new bridge, you may be able to discern the old bridge lurking palely beyond them. A little action with a chainsaw could open up an appealing view for walkers on the Tomintoul Spur of the Speyside Way http://speysideway.co.uk obliged to use the road bridge to cross the Burn of Tommore.
