Situated in the main village street, this TE is of a design common in rural areas and has the code WNAB. It provides telephone and broadband services to 255 residential and 41 non-residential premises in Acton Burnell plus Cound Moor, Frodesley, Kenley, Pitchford and Ruckley nearby. The red K6 telephone box to the left of the photo looks to have seen better days and it remains to be seen how long it will be until it is removed. Also, the green BT cabinet in front of the TE has a notice mentioning that Fibre Broadband is here and one should contact the chosen provider to get faster broadband. It is good to know that it has arrived in rural areas. The numbering range of this TE is (01694) 731xxx, the (01694) referring to the Church Stretton group of five TEs, and its postcode is SY5 7PA.
