Originally a terrace of houses built in 1844 by Farrants & Turrell, the Nelson Hotel is Grade 2 listed. Kimberley Terrace can be seen at right and the wooden posts at centre are the remains of a jetty which was situated a short distance further to the north and was removed in 2012 due to its dilapidated condition.
