I remember this better as Blairfindy Lodge Hotel, which was a comfortable country house hotel with a good reputation locally as a place to dine out. It is now operated as a B and B with a self-catering annexe. It is right beside the Tomintoul Spur of the Speyside Way http://www.speysideway.co.uk. I cannot help but wonder where B and B guests are expected to eat of an evening, as there is nowhere serving food in the evenings within anything like walking distance.
