Small village deep in oil country. Once surrounded by mines. Posters amongst the miner's cottages for the Livingston by-election. The by-election was caused by the death of Robin Cook on Ben Stack in Sutherland. Hardly anyone turned up to vote and yet another "Labour" victory in Central Scotland. ---- Update Feb 2011. The victor in that by-election is currently standing trial for false accounting over his expenses claims. He is no longer an M.P.
