The art-deco building at the junction of New Quay Street and Quay Street Image was once a garage. For some time it was occupied by ProVision, a company that supplied equipment to the Film and TV industry http://manchesterhistory.net/manchester/tours/tour1/area1page65.html More recently it was part of OGS Works, Allied London's "hello" project http://web.archive.org/web/20150217172346/http://oldgranadastudios.com/workspace/88-100-quay-street/ However it is now awaiting demolition. The building that will replace it will be called "Globe and Simpson" https://stjohnsmanchester.com/globe-simpson/ in remembrance of its original owners. 18 new buildings are being built across a site to be known as St John's and Enterprise City which will stretch along the River Irwell between Water Street, Liverpool Road and Quay Street.
