A shared path for walking and cycling, along the north bank of the River Wear in Sunderland. This path forms part of National Cycle Network route 7, also known as the C2C or sea-to-sea route, crossing northern England from the Cumbrian coast to the North Sea. This image was taken in late October, as leaves were turning golden.
