Taken at the entrance to The Russell School in Brushwood Drive, this photo shows a banner with the following wording: WE ARE PROUD TO BE RATED AS A 'GOOD' SCHOOL "This is a safe and nurturing environment in which pupils can flourish and succeed" "Pupils make good progress across the curriculum and leave the school well placed for a successful start at secondary school". The banner also mentions that Ofsted gave the school a good rating in 2017. Ofsted stands for the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. It is a non-ministerial department of the UK government being responsible for inspecting a range of educational institutions, including state schools and some independent schools.
