Tendring is a local government district that for all practical purposes covers the land in Essex to the east of Colchester. This is their Education Centre on Jaywick Lane. The notice board outside states that it houses Market Field College, a Library, a Day Centre, a Nursery, a Sports Centre, Community Resources, Tendring Eldercare and North Essex Teacher Training.
