Number 3 Court Street was the higher one room part of a house with the hall and other room now number 1. Built in the 15th or early 16th century, the house was separated from number 1 in the early 19th century. The house has smoke blackened roof timbers - something rare in towns. A part of a row of early houses that have survived. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1097205.
