This is the wooded north shore of the loch. I've always thought that this is one of the most picturesquely sited lochs on Speyside. The hill on the far side is Creag Phitiùlais, which you can pronounce fitty-yoolish if you would find it easier. In the genitive case in Gaelic, the initial consonant is aspirated, which in this case turns 'p' into 'f'.
