On the corner of Gallowgate and Newgate street in Newcastle city centre. This is No1 Gallowgate, built in 1898 by Oliver and Leeson, architects. It's a really nice little building, originally offices and shops. Has been a ladies hairdressers for some years, but before that it was a bank - Martins I think. If you look closely between the windows you can still see the hole for the old night safe, now blanked off.
