This is the limit of passenger services at the Heywood end of the line but it is not possible to board or leave the train here. The train called at Heywood from Bury then crossed over the level crossing and paused here for a while then returned non-stop to Bury without calling back at Heywood. All a bit confusing but is did allow the line-bashers a few more yards of railway for their records.
