Brizlee Tower

Decided against the walk up to the tower as it is no longer open to the public due to health and safety issues, so instead a distant view from across the other side of the River Aln. The tower dates from 1783 and was built to a design by Robert Adam. The tower is 24m [78ft] high and is topped by an ornamental fire basket.
