Model Village, Bourton on the Water

The Model Village is situated behind the Old New Inn. It is a one ninth scale model of the village and as delightful as the real one. The buildings are constructed and maintained in Cotswold stone from the local quarry. Built by local craftsmen in the 1930's. It was opened to the public on the Coronation day of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937.
