Great Yarmouth - the former Benedictine Friary

The building was the Great Hall of the domestic range of a Benedictine Friary founded in 1101 by Bishop Herbert de Losinga. It was much enlarged in 1260 and rebuilt in ca 1300. The building, which is Grade I listed, now houses the St Nicholas (Priory) Middle School.
