It is great to see the allotments doing so well here, but I wish the same could be said of Clovenstone's free library, which has had the books removed and been vandalised. I would blame this partly on whoever came over and did this, but also on the fact that the council has neglected the area- there is a lot of open dog fouling on these grassy areas which they do nothing about, and there are no benches for people to sit around on... it's almost as if in this working class area, any form of happiness is on sufferance from the council.
