This is the view from the A323 Fleet Road bridge along the dead straight section of four tracks looking in the up direction of Fleet station and London. The railway through here is, for all practical purposes, dead straight from Farnborough down to Basingstoke, via Fleet and Hook, a distance of about 14.0 miles or about 22.5 kilometres.
