The western section of Muchall Park now consists of beautiful mature trees and a "wild" open area which just a rough cut of the grass in early autumn. In evening October sunlight, the red/orange leaves on this tree are particularly vibrant. Geograph forum discussion has identified this as Caucasian or Claret Ash, Fraxinus angustifolia 'Raywood', also known as Fraxinus oxycarpa 'Raywood'. Image]
