No doubt inspired by the retro shabby-chic zeitgeist, the property owners and the local authority have recreated the scuzzy aura of 1970s urban decay surprisingly well, here in West Princes Street. However, experts might question the bold but probably not historically correct in-yer-face use of untreated concrete blocks in this composition.
