Historic public house on High Street, originally a hotel. A long room with middle counter and eating and drinking areas front, left and right. Fine stuccoed ceilings, and plenty of varnished wood. Cask ales on offer at my visit: three from the Marston's range, and Young's Special. The building dated from C17 and is listed by Historic England (Grade II): http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=46219&mode=adv
