Affectionately known as the Riser by locals, the Rising Sun is a Victorian canalside pub built in the 1880s and largely unchanged since. It's situated overlooking Lock No. 55 on the Grand Union Canal, seen in the foreground, and is only accessible by foot from along the canal or down a gravel driveway off George Street.
