To quote Pevsner, "nos. 3 and 4 represent the two dominant types of town house in Shrewsbury, early C18 brick and late C16 half-timbered, but both are heavily restored. No. 3 is dated 1725 and 1935. No. 4 looks entirely reconstructed and bears the unexpected date of 1946 [the listing simply states that it was built in 1940]". Grade II listed. Both were occupied by estate agents, Cooper Green Pooks and Miller Evans.
