Mossbank is a village on the northeast coast of the Mainland of Shetland, about 1 mile south of Toft. The village grew considerably during the 1980s when the nearby Sullom Voe oil terminal was built and the population expanded from 130 in the early 1970s to about a thousand a decade later.
